Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in an FDA regulated environment, working in a QC laboratory.
  • Proficiency in analytical techniques, including hands-on sample preparation and operation of analytical equipment and software.
  • Strong HPLC experience with troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with GC, FTIR, UV Spec, ICP, and other analytical instrumentation preferred.
  • Competence in wet chemistry.
  • Proficiency in data analysis using MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Experience in raw material, stability, in-process, and finished product testing.
  • Demonstrate adherence to good laboratory practices.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Flexible availability.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis in analytical testing areas using modern analytical equipment such as HPLC, FTIR, UV, GC, ICP, as well as Wet Chemistry techniques.
  • Provide analytical testing support for production, including the analysis of Raw Material, In-Process, Finished product, Stability samples, and investigational samples. Analyze and interpret test data, documenting results in a timely manner.
  • Ensure thorough understanding and compliance with FDA cGMPs/cGLPs, USP, ICH, SOPs, Test Methods, and other recognized standards.
  • Contribute to housekeeping responsibilities including glassware maintenance, waste disposal, and lab cleanliness.
  • Communicate lab test data, review data, and report OOS/QR/OOT test results to the lab manager.
  • Offer ideas and feedback for enhancing lab efficiency through the 5S process improvement program.
  • Support general safety and pharmaceutical compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with management regarding calibration services for lab instrumentation.
  • Initiate and complete analytical test methods associated with raw materials, finished products, and lab instrumentation.
